The Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors meet yet again in the playoffs, This though Steph does not have his splash brother and his MVP companion in Kevin Durant by his side. Atleast Steph and Draymond are there, the Houston Rockets have a completely new team. 3 of Houston's starters are in their first ever playoffs. This matchup is the perfect Youth vs Experience matchup and who's going to come out on top, we'll discuss that further.

New-Look Houston Rockets

Houston Rockets have a long history against the Golden State Warriors, James Harden probably the second Greatest rocket of all time gave his all battling the Warriors dynasty at their peak. Once that Era came to an end the Rockets went into a rebuild and after years of drafting top picks they are back in the playoffs but who do they face- It's the Warriors again.

"This ain't that team" said Rockets point guard Fred Vanvleet when asked about Rocket's history vs the Warriors. Little was he wrong this Rockets though, This Rockets team is completely different. Not just the players but their playstyle. Those Harden Rockets were a offense first defense next team but this team takes pride in their defense let by their coach Ime Udoka, Who's known to be a tough defensive minded coach. Speaking of their defense we have to start with the Terror Twins, Amen Thompson and Tari Eason.

Amen Thompson has developed himself as one of the league best two way players particularly on the defensive end where he actually might make the All-Defensive first team in only his second year in the league. Draymond Green himself mentioned that Tari Eason is the player of reminds him of himself that says a lot about him. Tari Eason is all hustle and defense first. Then we have Jabari Smith Jr, the 3rd pick of 2024 draft class, one the few players who has the size to guard the five and the foot speed to guard a point guard. These players are also sort of mentored by Dillon the Villain.

Their offensive mantra is "Grab the offensive rebound". Honestly their offensive game plan struggles in set plays yet they have 50wins, one the biggest reasons for this is their length and the new double big lineups that Ime Udoka has been using Steven Adams, Alperen Sengun and Jabari Smith Jr. These guys grab the boards like their life depends on it.

Then we have their offensive weapon in Jalen Green- the second overall pick in 2021 draft. Jalen Green is a Walking highlight reel he has also improved his shooting percentages this season but he is little streaky, honestly this series is dependent on him because you know what you are getting from Alperen Sengun he's their All star but Jalen Green is the X-factor player.

The Rockets are back in the playoffs what would be more perfect winning the warriors and maybe ending their dynasty?

Experienced Golden State Warriors

Golden State Warriors season was pretty up and down until the Jimmy Butler arrived in the Bay area. The Warriors started the season pretty strongly Buddy Hield was on fire averaging almost 25 points but then cooled off and they were kind of struggling but it was all until the all star break where they traded for Jimmy Butler, The Warriors are 23-8 Since Jimmy Butler arrived.

Steph Curry has also caught fire at the right time averaging more that 30 in the last 10 games of the season. Defensively they are led by the former Defensive Player of the Year in Draymond Green. When we take a look at matchups, Rockets are actually clear favourites, However, nothing can beat the experience these Warriors have, We Call jimmy Butler "Playoff" Jimmy for a reason and you know what the baby faced assassin can do, Rockets fans know exactly. The Warriors young players like Moses Moody and Quinton Post have also been doing their part.

The biggest question the Houston Rockets would want an answer is whether they have that GUY who can go and get a bucket when needed because in the playoffs that's what is needed. When game in winding down do they have that Guy to go and make a play? Will Jalen Green or Alperen Sengun do that for them?

As far as the Warriors are concerned they those Alphas in them, Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler can both do the job for them but do they have enough to beat Houston's defense and rebound attack? The last time Rockets and Warriors played Amen Thompson held Steph Curry to just 3 point in 1-10 shooting and rebounds? we dont even have to talk about that.

So, Who's winning it all? We believe that youth is going to overpower. Yes, We got Houston to win the Warriors in 6.
